Senior Real Estate Portfolio Manager
Duties: Review and interpret loan documents and mortgage loan investment summaries to become familiar with and understand complex loans. Perform review and analysis of a variety of real estate related documents, such as leases, organizational documents, financial statements, property management agreements, franchise agreements, CC&Rs, etc. Submit to management well-written, well-reasoned and detailed narratives on the transaction including making recommendations for approvals or declines. Work with borrowers and legal counsel to successfully negotiate all forms of mortgage and real estate related transaction documents. Ensure smooth and timely closing of transactions. Due diligence review, including reviewing title policies, exception documents, surveys, zoning reports, environmental reports, easements, etc. Conduct research, review documents, and collaborate internally and with third parties to ensure understanding of any potential issues that could affect PL’s collateral. Produce or assist with specialized senior management and portfolio reporting as assigned. Leverage technology to help enhance and drive efficiencies. Provide support to closing, operations, underwriting and field offices, as needed. Collaborate with senior management and the team to ensure early identification of troubled assets; provide written and oral presentations to senior management regarding portfolio performance metrics, on a regular basis.
