In this role you\u2019ll be instrumental in mapping out programs, technologies, and key activities needed to help us grow our community while maintaining engagement with current members.Reporting to the Director of Community you will contribute to and lead aspects of Community marketing to nurture our user ecosystem and help educate, collaborate and inspire our Splunk Community.What you will be doing:Lead and manage a community by defining a strategy, creating and tracking success metrics, and building strong, trust-based relationships with customersOversee the day-to-day of the community by\u00A0 moderating and contributing to discussions, addressing community escalations, and iterating on workflows and processes.Engage with Splunk\u2019s core users to understand their needs and stay connected to their experience both with the Splunk product and wider community.Work closely with our most active and enthusiastic community members to create community-led initiatives and provide support and resources.\u00A0Collaborate with teams across Splunk product, field and marketing to own and create community content, engagement opportunities, product and feature awareness.Help identify trends, opportunities that contribute to the overall community strategy to ensure all aspects are functioning at its best to engage a diverse set of users.Act as subject matter expert on core community programs, features, and metrics and showcase how these contribute to the overall business.\u00A0Build and exemplify the Splunktone in all community interactions.Measure, monitor and report on community metrics and KPIsQualifications of what we are looking for:Bachelor\u2019s degree and a minimum of 7 years of experience focused on building a community or similar engagement.Expert knowledge of technical forums and discussion channels with experience building and managing community programs.Curiosity for learning and digging into new technologies, with the ability to pick those up quickly as you go.Strong written, editorial and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and ability to lead multiple projects and tasks.A passion for understanding community metrics and desire to leverage these\u00A0 insights to deliver marketing goals.A proven track record collaborating across matrixed organizations to drive results.Adept at navigating uncertainty and complexity whilst delivering a strong finished product.Intense teamwork, harmony and the ability to lead with vision.\u00A0We value diversity at our company.
