SUMMARY
Job Summary:
Will be responsible for delivering high quality software solutions. The individual chosen to fill this role may be tasked with multiple implementation projects in different phases of the software implementation life cycle. Regardless of individual experience the candidate chosen will need to be an individual who can quickly adapt to a changing environment and assume ownership of technical deliverables on a customer project. The candidate will be a fast learner and quick self-study.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops and supports enterprise applications, including web-based and desktop applications, integration services, and reporting packages.
Installs, supports and maintains applications and enterprise systems, including both internal and 3rd party integrations.
Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.
Develops and maintains familiarity with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
Reviews, analyzes and modifies programming systems including coding, testing, debugging, and installation to support company applications systems.
Assists in designing and building relational database structures using SQL Server; Prepares, implements, and executes scheduled and unscheduled upgrades and installations.
Must be able to independently work through issues and develop solutions under strict timeframes.
Work in concert with infrastructure team to support web and application servers.
Other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s/Associates degree OR 3-5 year related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Please note: New graduates will be considered for this position in addition to candidates with many years of experience.
Position Requirements:
- One (1) – Five (5) years experience in developing and testing Windows applications using Microsoft .NET Visual Studio with VB.Net or C# and/or One (1) – Five (5) years experience of .NET web development using ASP.NET
- One (1) – Three (3) years experience with Microsoft SQL Server or other Relational Database Management System
- Familiar with Industry Standards
- Software Development Lifecycle
- Relational and object oriented database management systems
- MS Office and PC proficiency are a must
- The selected candidate must be willing and excited to learn
- The selected candidate must be willing to work hard to make our products and customer experiences better each and every day
- Ability to prioritize and focus in the face of conflicting priorities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred but not required:
- Experience with Microsoft Access, Crystal Reporting, Silverlight, XML, CSS, JSON, Javascript , IIS Administration, RUP development process experience
