Job Details:

Summary

Seasoned, driven communications professional to support the Chief Human Resources Officer and HR leadership team. You will identify internal and external communication opportunities to further build and support the HR organization. You must be a strategic and creative thinker and be able to organize complex information into simple narratives and clear and concise communications plans.

Responsibilities

Lead executive communications counsel for the CHRO; develop and refine CHRO tone of voice, thought leadership and messaging; create and manage internal and external engagements, developing compelling content that resonates with team members and other stakeholders.

Collaborate with media team on industry engagements and provide messaging and storytelling support throughout the engagement process.

Develop strategic communications for the HR organization and successfully drive implementation of communications supporting the HR function strategy.

Develop and implement effective communications strategies for internal and external audiences on a variety of topics.

Plan, develop and facilitate employee engagement communications, including all hands meetings.

Establish close relationships with executive leaders to build trust and establish confidence to provide coaching/guidance on effective communications skills.

Develop and implement KPIs to measure the success and effectiveness of communications

Requirements

Bachelor’s in communications or related field and 7 years’ experience or 9 years’ experience

Proven strategic communications counselor with experience counseling senior executives and HR leaders/function

Ability to clearly articulate complex issues and develop recommendations for a variety of audiences

Ability to build trust and interact with execs with confidence, proactively driving outcomes and providing insightful counsel.

Creative, digital-first mindset with ability to identify unique approaches to communications and employee engagement

Strong executive presence with proven ability to influence and build partnerships at all levels of the organization

High degree of flexibility, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise excellent judgment

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Experience developing compelling presentation materials

Impeccable attention to detail

Collaboration-oriented with strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills

Self-starter with the ability to thrive, meet deadlines and produce a high volume of content in a dynamic, high-pressure environment

**Travel – up to 25%, as needed

**Travel is limited during pandemic
