Description

The Lead Cloud Architect leads the planning, design, and engineering of enterprise-level infrastructure and platforms related to cloud computing. The Lead Cloud Architect works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial. This role with be the Lead Cloud Architect for Interoperability Initiatives pioneering in Interoperability API's which will be used by both external and internal customers.

Responsibilities

The Lead Cloud Architect performs technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications for cloud computing environments. Develops specifications for new IT cloud computing products and service offerings. Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

This role will also benefit from prior experience in the Healthcare domain especially with FHIR and HL7 standards. Expertise in designing cloud native restful API's is a plus. This role will involve working with a talented group of individuals employing agile ways of working and embracing DevOps enabled by Azure platform.

Required Qualifications

a Bachelor's degree

8 or more years of technical experience

2 or more years of project leadership experience

3 years of cloud architecture experience building cloud native API's

In-depth experience with Mongo DB , Kafka and/or StreamSets ( or similar technologies)

Experience with Azure DevOps or similar DevOps platform

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Master's in Computer Science

Solution Architecture certification in Major Cloud platform such as AWS/Azure/GCP

Certification in Mongo/Kafka or StreamSets

Experience building RESTful API's
