The Senior Warehouse Associate performs warehouse activities such as receiving, stock keeping, picking, packing, and shipping activities with a higher level of responsibility. Additionally responsible for ordering, planning/scheduling of materials to and from the warehouse, as well as other departments. Other responsibilities include some HR related activities such as training, coaching, communicating job expectations, as well as appraisals and disciplinary actions. Maintains excellent customer service at all times with customers, co-workers, and management. Position is located in Albany, Oregon.Process and put away all incoming freight, work through discrepancies with receiving.Put all materials in correct location.Perform verification of purchased products and enter order receipts into computer system.Perform quality assurance inspections when appropriate.Keep track of critical OEM parts.Participate in Lean process and perform 5S activities.Segregate backorders and place received materials in proper locations; relocate and consolidate materials as needed, adjust locations in computer system accordingly.Pull, pack, weigh and label materials for shipment (including assembly and hold orders).Pull and prepare kits for work orders.Prepare local delivery records and complete applicable blocks on the pick ticket.Maintain Return Material Authorization/Credit Memo (RMA/CM) forms pending return of materials.Inspect condition of returned materials prior to completing return authorization forms.Pull stock and return it to the correct location pending credit memo, sale or return to supplier.Clean warehouse and inbound freight area.Assemble/disassemble bins, racks, shelves, and tables as needed.Administer preventative maintenance programs to delivery vehicles and warehouse equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety practices for warehouse operations.Record verbal/written complaints from customers concerning dissatisfaction with product or service provided.Process the complaint by responding to the customer with the action taken to correct the problem or directing the complaint department supervisor/manager where necessary.Sell, assemble and pack over the counter sales.Assist in handling telephone and email inquiries on stockroom materials.Maintain highest level of customer service.Operate forklift safely to pull inventory from pallet racks.Perform other duties as required.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Ability to adhere to all WESCO rules and policies.Ability to be on time for scheduled work day and complete all work hours required.Strong attention to detail.Intermediate computer skills required.Ability to work in a team environment and to get along with coworkers.Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions.Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.Ability to operate hand and power tools and equipment.Ability to adapt to changing situations and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.Ability to anticipate and prepare for customer needs.Ability to move a minimum of 25 pounds.Knowledge of electrical, construction or mechanical products preferredEDUCATION High School Degree or EquivalentEXPERIENCEMinimum 1-3 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment. Minimum 1-3 years supervisory experience with receiving, put away, picking, packing/shipping, and order management.Must be forklift certified.
