Description: Field Technician responsibilities include electrical testing on HELLFIRE missiles as required per CCWS project office. Assembly/disassembly of HELLFIRE missiles. Need to have some Q-note user knowledge. Experienced in writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and final test reports. Experience with working directly with the customer on a daily basis.
Frequent Support to the Redstone Arsenal CCWS customer. Missile responsibilities will be performing dynamic, environment, and E3 testing and operating missile test set computers.
Demonstrates ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Willingness to travel (less than 10%).
Demonstrate knowledge and use of ATM's (Automated Technical Manuals) for removal, repair and reassembly of critical line replaceable units.
Familiar with testing and handling HELLFIRE missiles.
Ability to obtain a secret security clearance and must be able to obtain an interim secret security clearance prior to start.
Experience handling explosives as part of weapon system Experience handling explosives as part of weapon system development and testing.
Experience at a major testing range such as Redstone Arsenal or White Sands.
Understand, observe and enforce compliance with all environmental control procedures for the handling and disposition of hazardous materials and hazardous waste.
Needs to work daily with the customer. Needs to be able to promote an excellent customer relationship.
