DVP of Regulatory Counsel
The candidate will draft, review, and negotiate contracts with payors, providers, vendors, and other third parties to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Company policy guidelines. Coordinate with compliance as it relates to legal issues, including assisting with compliance investigations and audits as needed. Develop and maintain effective relationships with key staff, governmental organizations, and external service providers. A Juris Doctor from an accredited law school. Member in good standing with a bar. Licensed to practice in Georgia or admitted to the GA Bar following commencement of the position. Should have 3-5 years of related experience. Strong command of regulations relating to Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement and state and federal fraud and abuse laws, i.e., Stark Law, Anti-kickback Statute, and False Claims Act. Specialized knowledge of and experience in the healthcare industry.
