The Transportation Analyst is the primary contact for both internal and external partners, providing insight and clarity on the status of product, particularly when it’s holiday and promotional product. Additionally, the Analyst consistently works cross-functionally to deliver on supply chain performance improvement initiatives and efficiencies.

Must be responsive with a strong sense of urgency, possess the ability to meet established deadlines, and work in a constantly changing environment.

Job Overview

Single point of contact for demand planners, vendors and provide updates and recommendations accordingly

Collaborate with scheduling team to ensure receipt of critical product and problem solve issues that arise

Understand the status of shipments and responsible for ensuring compliance with vendors with chargebacks, delivery date information, etc.

Monitor industry trends and raise awareness when products enter or leave a collect vendor’s assortment

Manage the on-boarding process for all new collect vendors, train vendors on process, and outline performance expectations

Minimum Requirements

2 or more years of Supply Chain Operations

Strong written and verbal communication skills

2 or more years of experience working cross-functionally involving multiple teams, priorities and deadlines

Advanced Microsoft Office Suite Skills

1 or more years of experience using analytical skills to problem-solve

Preferred Requirements

Associates Degree (2 years) or higher

Basic understanding of Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related experience
