Massage Practitioner - Per Diem','200156','Integrative Medicine - Downtown','Washington-Seattle','Days','On Call/Per Diem','On Call/Per Diem','Afternoon & Evenings/ Variable','Afternoon & Evenings/ Variable','Monday - Saturday / Variable','Monday - Saturday / Variable','','','!*!In this Massage Therapist role you will provide both seated and table massage services to employees, clients from the community and Virginia Mason clinic patients.Perform massage or therapeutic body work plan of care; teach self care, stretching, and refer to other health care practitioners as appropriate. Process patient health history forms, assess patient, and devises appropriate plan of care. Chart notes on patient care, including adding to the health history obtained during massage; notes additional findings and massage techniques used as well as patient reaction and homework, if needed. Collect fees from patients. Ensure linens are available; clean equipment to protocol/standard. This position requires a current Washington State Massage Practitioner License.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to read and interpret health history forms and take verbal history as needed.
Working knowledge of medical terminology.
