Visiting Assistant/Visiting Associate Professor

The candidate duties will : Direct live client clinical programs while broadly delegating authority and responsibility to the faculty members involved; Represent existing clients in the Civil Practice Clinic; Identify and pursue opportunities to fund clinical efforts; Assist students and faculty in the creation and operation of pro bono programs and supervise reporting for the pro bono requirement; Oversee the public extern program or the judicial extern program. Will be expected to teach at least one class in the general law school curriculum. Must have Juris Doctor degree or its equivalent from an ABA accredited law school. Impressive law school academic record (based on grades, participation in moot court, trial team, or law journal) and experience in clinical education. Should have License to practice law in the State of Illinois at the time of application submission. Preferably Law teaching experience in doctrinal courses, experience overseeing clinical education activities, an established scholarship record, practice experience, or a combination thereof.
