Assistant Counsel - Procurement
The candidate will be responsible for: Advising VHDA on legal aspects of procurement transactions. Identifying high risk vendors and contracts and related risks on behalf of VHDA. Drafting and negotiating a wide range of high risk contracts and IT contracts including contracts resulting from solicitations. Assisting with general corporate matters. Should have 1-3 years’ prior experience in procurement transactions and/or contract management. JD from an accredited law school and a Virginia State Bar license. Experience in a law firm, governmental agency or private sector with exposure to negotiating contract services, including IT contracts, or experience with Tier 1 vendor relationships is preferred.
