Provides safe and effective nursing care to assigned patients utilizing the nursing process. Is responsible and accountable for a broad range of services including health promotion, maintenance, prevention of illness and disability, diagnosis and management of common acute and chronic illness, guidance and counseling and advocacy within the larger health care system. Responsible for the direction and supervision of personnel assigned to deliver that care. Consults with the physician when appropriate and the client.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
Demonstrated skills in organization, verbal and written communications, customer service, math, analysis, reading, following instruction, basic computer usage. Meditech software experience preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED:
1 – 3 years related experience preferably in occupational health.
Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing plus completion of training as a Nurse Practitioner.
RN and ARNP license in the State of Florida.
