ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\u2022 Be a positive influence on the team\u2022 Direct employees to the work in order to maintain flow of the operations.\u2022 Must spend 90% of worked time coaching and developing on the floor with employees, The other 10% should be for office/clerical work\u2022 Proficient in department specific SOPs\u2022 Be able to deal with pressure of meeting production schedules by planning and prioritizing fulfillment/customer needs.\u2022 Participate in team meetings, receive instructions, and provide feedback as appropriate\u2022 Coach employees on job-specific tasks\u2022 Computer usage, including maintaining MS Excel spreadsheets, Warehouse Management System and internet\u2022 Read and audit labels\u2022 Analyze inventory and problems to initiate a resolution\u2022 Compile and send out end-of-day reports\u2022 Communicate effectively in person and via email (Outlook)\u2022 Use handheld to scan and process inventory\u2022 Identify, count and sort packages and inventory with high level of accuracy\u2022 Train new employees\u2022 Use internal ticketing system, Jira, to log problems and expedite resolution\u2022 Operate pallet jack\u2022 Use automated packaging equipment\u2022 Maintain a clean workspace\u2022 Complete and maintain forklift certification training (if trained and active forklift operator)\u2022 Other duties as assignedNON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\u2022 Participate in LEAN initiatives\u2022 Participate in company events\u2022 Be a department Champion; able to assist Supervisor in answering of questions and department supervision.\u2022 Be able to support the GOAT Code as well as fulfillment leadership competencies.QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:\u2022 Prefer high school diploma or equivalency\u2022 3 months experience in fulfillment center\u2022 3 months experience as a Merchandise Processor\u2022 Verbal and written comprehension of the English language required\u2022 Basic math skills required\u2022 Must be able to apply established procedures and follow oral/written instructions\u2022 Must be able to work independently without direct supervision and organize/prioritize workload to ensure completion of all tasks within established time frames\u2022 Must be able to deal with the pressure of meeting production schedules\u2022 Computer skills, including familiarity with the internet and email requiredABOUT BACKCOUNTRY\u00A0Seek it.
