Bookkeeper - Legal Assistant
The candidate sets up new clients and associated financial details in our practice management and accounting systems. Prepares financial reports (mainly through Quickbooks). Enters clients' payments into the accounting system, prepares the bank deposit, balances daily reports, and upon approval, assures that deposits are delivered to the bank. Prepares checks and makes sure all bills are paid on time. Prepares bank reconciliations. Should have a finance-related degree and is familiar with accounting software packages, specifically Quickbooks Online. Ultimately, the Bookkeeper’s responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company and provide reports to the Owner. Should also be computer savvy, MacOS preferred.
