Towson office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an estate planning attorney. The candidate will discern from client interactions what the best service plan would be for the client. Explain the recommended plan to the client and educate them on its value, alleviate hesitations or objections, and follow the script to persuade the client to buy the service. Meet with potential clients who have expressed interest in estate planning services. Listen to client circumstances and desired outcomes and propose a solution for them, such as an asset protection trust, revocable living trust, or other service to help them achieve their objectives. Talk the clients through the recommended plan and ask them to move forward with the proposed plan (close the sale). Collect a partial payment in the initial meeting and schedule the subsequent meetings in accordance with the company's process. Work with paralegals to draft the plan documents and have subsequent meetings with the clients to review the documents and make sure they understand and agree. Work 18+ hours a week meeting with prospective clients to sell estate plans and related services (asset protection trusts, revocable living trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and advanced medical directives). Work 18+ hours a week counseling clients through the estate planning process. Work 5-10 hours a week in team meetings and sales training. Any previous experience in transactional law (such as personal injury, medical malpractice, etc.) would be valuable. MD Bar admission is required.
