The position is located in Elk Grove Village, IL and the Marketing Specialist (Assistant) will be supporting the Boise Paper division of Packaging Corporation of America (PCA).
The Marketing Specialist (Assistant) is responsible for supporting the Sales and Marketing teams through a variety of projects and deliverables to add value to the business. The Marketing Specialist (Assistant) is expected to provide general support for sales and marketing teams, including updating and proofing sales collateral, data entry and reporting, and expense tracking. The job requires organization, analysis, initiative, and a sense of urgency. The Marketing Specialist (Assistant) is expected to be a team player and have a “can-do” attitude to ensure we meet tight deadlines.
Boise Paper is a division of Packaging Corporation of America (PCA). Boise Paper is the third largest manufacturer of uncoated freesheet in the United States. The Marketing Specialist (Assistant) is expected to exercise solid judgment in prioritizing projects and determining how the department’s limited resources can be utilized for maximum return. The individual is expected to have strong communication skills and the ability to influence colleagues to ensure desired outcomes.
Interactions with Customers and Contacts
Internally, the Marketing Specialist (Assistant) will work with marketing, sales reps, and sales managers on an ongoing basis. The individual is expected to be able to prioritize requests and ensure the department meets customer driven deadlines and will be expected to interact directly with customers via email, telephone, and when they visit PCA locations.
