The candidate will be responsible for: Perform a variety of responsible legal secretarial and administrative duties and to provide information and assistance to the public. Ability to take and transcribe legal dictation; draft and prepare a variety of routine correspondence, legal documents, including court pleadings and legal opinions. Ability to manage legal documents and filing of legal documents in the appropriate courts. Knowledge of the court system, their procedures and related rules. Knowledge of legal terminology and the forms. Working up of litigation cases. Assist attorneys during trial. Assist in special projects as assigned. Schedule appointments, assist in serving as receptionist. Knowledge of the following programs; Word, Word perfect, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., Perform other duties as assigned. Should have 3+ years of increasingly responsible legal secretarial experience. Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth(12th) grade wupplemented specialized legal secretarial training.
