Duties: Develops a working knowledge of all HR and Payroll related computer systems, integrations, and interfaces (e.g. General Ledger, Tax Files etc.). Develops and maintains standard and customized reports to extract information and perform analysis. Responds to ad-hoc requests from HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, Managers and staff utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assures accuracy of all reported data coming out of HRIS systems by defining and implementing data integrity audits, alerts and controls. Configures and administers systems by updating and modifying codes, tables, reports and other systems to meet the changing requirements of the Firm. Analyze large amounts of information to develop innovative solutions. Organize large amounts of complex data quickly and effectively. Complete monthly, quarterly, and yearly payroll and employment reports as needed. Oversees auditing and maintenance of employee payroll records, including personnel status updates, terminations, and new hires for a domestic and global workforce. Partners with other departments and SMEs and serves as Tier 2/Tier 3 support to troubleshoot and resolve HRMS technical issues, process flaws, compliance updates and new feature/functionality setup. Provide case management oversight and adherence to turn-around times. Performs monthly financial analysis pertaining to Workday data in partnership with Finance department to validate HR data. Provides routine and ad-hoc analytical compensation/ financial analysis to HR Leadership. Maintains a strong knowledge of HR and payroll policies, procedures, trends, practices, wage and hour laws, tax regulations (e.g. federal, state, and local taxes). Assists in maintaining integrations for relevant HR systems including change control migration considerations and systems change management. Configures and documents standard operating procedures and workflow processes; develops and maintains eligibility rules and business process procedures. Supports annual year-end project tasks, periodic payroll administration and downstream workflows using K&S systems, excel and Workday. Perform a wide variety of payroll and reporting duties to support the HR and Payroll departments including computing overtime payments. This role will have specialized payroll-related duties that require skill in evaluating and analyzing employee information. Responsible for coordination efforts to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee payroll data. Ensures business as usual and projects are delivered to required deadlines with quality. Actively monitors operational health metrics by testing and ensuring processing checklist/SOP is followed. Create, manage, and execute on required recovery plans and Root Cause Analysis documentation, as necessary. Conduct applicable risk-based auditing to ensure consistent and accurate results. Ensure appropriate evidence is provided/documented for SOC Control tasks. Drive overall quality control as well as support and identify opportunities for process optimization and automation. Coordinate testing and develop complex reports. Support effective cost management practices and suggest operational improvements. Strong attention to detail and quality assurance is required. Communicate effectively to all levels of the organization.
