Ward and Smith, P.A. is a growing full-service law firm with multiple offices throughout North Carolina. We are seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to join our Creditors' Rights section in our Raleigh office.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to supporting attorneys and paralegals in the Creditors' Rights section by creating, proofing, editing, revising, and printing correspondence, memoranda, and legal documents; conferring with clients; maintaining calendars; and managing files.
Applicants should be multi-task oriented, well organized, have excellent written and oral communication skills, and be able to function well in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates will be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, possess strong grammar and punctuation skills, and be able to prioritize work assignments to meet critical deadlines.
Applicants should have a minimum of two to three years' experience in a legal administrative support role. An Associate's Degree in Office Administration/Technology is preferred. Work experience may be substituted for education.
We offer a generous $2500 sign-on bonus for this position.
