GENERAL SUMMARY: 

Responsible for retouching on model and still life editorial imagery. Works closely with Sr Retouchers

and photographers to ensure color accuracy and brand consistency. Color manages for print and web. Updates and maintains image servers with imagery and communicates clearly with team members to meet deadline and fulfill imagery needs.

 

REPORTS TO: Sr Director, Art & Content 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Maintaining image quality for on model and still life editorial imagery. *Comping product into images for precise product messaging *Manage accuracy of product retouching within editorial, social, and ecommerce environment. *Color match still life and on model photography. *Quality control within designated brand and category established guidelines, exposure, color, etc. *Enhance images as directed, including color correction, skin and product clean up, refining silhouettes, masking and shadows. *Manage digital assets creating deliverables for different needs. *Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional partners: digital, creative, and product teams. *Archive all work to create and maintain a digital library that is easily accessible. *Refine and advance retouching skills, keep up with the latest retouching techniques and technology. *Possesses the knowledge and capability to flex their retouching skills to encompass various categories, as business needs dictates. *Ensure photographs maintain brand consistency.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

*Extremely organized, excellent communication skills - listening, speaking and writing skills. *Keen eye for color and lighting. *Superior knowledge of Abobe Creative Suite and understanding of photography techniques. *Process oriented and maintains the ability to prioritize effectively. *Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, in a fast-paced and growing team environment. *Knowledge of current design trends and fashions. *Passion: We love what we do. EXPERIENCE:

*2+ years in a related post-production, retouching, or color correction position.

*Fluent in Adobe Creative suite. Capture One knowledge is a plus.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree in Arts or related field
