Rust Constructors Inc, an AECOM Company, is seeking a Welder for a project assignment located in Three Rivers, TX. This opportunity is contingent upon contract award with an anticipated start date in late March 2019.
The Welder is responsible for welding metal components with welding equipment to fit, join, fabricate, and/or repair heavy and large mechanical products per specifications and in accordance with the production schedule.
Duties may include operating various types welding equipment (GMAW, FCAW, SMAW). Often responsible for understanding and applying good mathematical, science, mechanical and logical reasoning abilities.
Joining or severing piping and other metal components
Build up worn parts by welding layers of high strengthen hard metal alloys into them
Selects type and size of pipe, and related materials and equipment according to specifications
Selects equipment and plans layouts, assembly and welding applying knowledge of geometry, physical properties of metal machining weld shrinkage
Three (3) or more years of Stick Welding Experience on Oil & Gas Construction Projects
Ability to perform services using own equipment (Rig)
Trade schools, seminar or other relevant training; Journeyman certification.
Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test
Must be able to clear a weld assessment screening
This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization
