Network Administrator

The candidate will setup, configure, administer, and network environment. Support and troubleshoot VPN environment. Monitor voice and data systems to ensure that performance is within established standards and guidelines. Provide Tier 1 & 2 support for voice and data communications. Troubleshoot, configure, and maintain telecommunications equipment and wiring. Perform moves, adds, changes, and deletes on the telecommunications systems. Provide training, and guidance to users on telecommunications capabilities and operations. Troubleshoot voice quality issues. Perform ongoing evaluation and adherence to the company’s security policies. Secure telecommunications and network systems by enforcing policies and procedures. Participate in penetration testing, SOC audits, and client audits. Support various security administration software packages. Escalate problems to the appropriate team/person when necessary. Effectively communicate, as appropriate, the status of outages and root cause to users and IT management. Develop business rapport with user community in order to understand the business and business functions. Creation and maintenance of documentation as well as tracking daily task details in the ticketing system and sharing information with team. Track voice and data contracts, review invoices and handling of vendor disputes. Work with voice and data carriers to identify and resolve issues. Participate in business projects as required. Must be available for emergency after-hours support and monthly maintenance every 3rd Saturday of the month. Travel to branch locations as required <10%. Additional duties as requested or required.
