Aon is looking for a Strategy Analyst with our STG - Inpoint Team As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Inpoint business group within the Strategy & Technology Group (STG) vertical in Chicago, IL. Aon Inpoint provides advisory services to firms who operate across the insurance landscape, which include many of the most prestigious companies in the Global Property, Casualty, Insurtech, and Health and Benefit (re)insurance market. We help our clients to navigate a fast-changing market environment to drive profitable and sustainable growth and business results. We have privileged access to Aon’s proprietary data and its global network of (re)insurance industry experts to derive unique and compelling insights into the sources of competitive advantage in our industry. Most importantly we help our clients to turn insights into practical actions and into tangible returns. We work with our clients to understand their objectives, address their challenges, develop a deep understanding of market conditions and issues, and create strategies that drive growth opportunities and competitive market advantages. Work Style: Hybrid As a Strategy Associate you will:Participate in full lifecycle client engagements by supporting the delivery of discrete workstreams and strategic initiativesPerform data analyses and financial modeling to derive qualitative insightsConduct market and subject domain research, quantitative and qualitative analyses, to inform strategic recommendations to clientsPrepare and participate in client interviews and discovery sessions with Aon subject matter expertsEngage and actively contribute to the production of reports and other client deliverables and developing client-ready materials (PowerPoint, Excel, White Papers)Support project leadership in synthesizing findings, identifying key insights from analyses, and implementation and execution of strategic recommendationsActively participate in the identification and communication of recommendations to clientsSupport specific aspects of the client relationship alongside other Aon Inpoint colleaguesWork in a collaborative environment with clients and colleaguesWork with senior management to develop proposals and create marketing and business development materialsSupport the operational needs of Aon Inpoint including internal initiatives such as recruiting, marketing, communications, etc.You Bring Knowledge and Expertise.Characteristics of an Ideal Candidate:One to three years of experience in consulting, finance, corporate strategy, insurance, or related fieldsStrong analytical abilities and a track record of academic successStrong verbal communication and business writing abilitiesWillingness to learn and solve complex problemsAbility to perform well under pressure, on multiple workstreams, and with tight deadlinesRegularly identifies opportunities to take on additional responsibility and to work more efficientlyStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clientsProficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint and Excel)Experienced in Alteryx and other data analytics tools is a plusWilling to travel up to 20%Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree from a top tier universityWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
