The candidate will be reporting directly to the Senior Associate Dean, the Director of Academic Support and Adjunct Professor of Law devises and implements an academic support/success program for the law school, teaches and co-teaches classes, and provides academic counseling and assistance to students. Will devise and implement a program of academic support/success for students who will benefit from additional academic and other assistance, in consultation with the Senior Associate Dean and other academic administrators and faculty including providing supplemental individual assistance to students who are identified as at risk as a result of their first semester grades. Provide curricular counseling and assistance to upper class students as required under relevant academic regulations and provide supplemental individual assistance to students who are identified as at risk as a result of their first semester grades. Develop and present a series of workshops and programs for students on academic success topics including outlining, note-taking, critical case reading, preparing for exams, taking and writing exams and legal writing.
