Associate General Counsel
The candidate's responsibilities include: Support General Counsel with respect to the overall legal and compliance functions. Provide day-to-day counseling and advice across a variety of areas, such as contractual interpretation, compliance, intellectual property, litigation and HR matters. Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, such as purchase agreements, licensing agreements, supply chain agreements, IT and business process outsourcing agreements, and SaaS agreements. Experience and familiarity with cyber-security and data protection laws, including GDPR. Keep abreast of changes and developments impacting consumer protection, advertising laws, privacy, HR and proactively advise the on same. Qualifications: 4+ years of general corporate legal experience, preferably at both a law firm and a multi-national company (consumer products or ecommerce is a plus). Experience working in international markets and familiarity with EU laws a plus. Experience and confidence independently drafting and negotiating a variety of agreements and providing practical and business-oriented advice.
