The candidate will be responsible for handling the investigation and prosecution of federal crimes. This will include prosecuting cases such as fraud, embezzlement, other white collar crimes, as well as firearms offenses, drug crimes, child exploitation and other violent crimes. May also be called upon to assist in the prosecution of a wide variety of other criminal cases as needed to address the district's priorities. Will also be responsible for drafting appellate briefs and presenting oral arguments. Prosecute a complex white collar, organized crime, or drug trafficking organization case, or is capable of prosecuting such a case if given the appropriate training and experience. Should have a J.D. degree and be an active member of the Bar (any US jurisdiction). Should preferably have excellent academic credentials, superior analytical abilities and oral communications skills, excellent research and writing skills, good judgment and strong character.
