Contract Administrator
The candidate will review contract language to evaluate modifications against specified standards. Collaborate with the contracting staff at subsidiaries, and operational stakeholders at corporate to revise contract language to support business needs and/or provider concerns. Serve as point of contact for all language review issues for contracts submitted through the organization’s contract management systems contract management systems (i.e. Emptoris and Team Track). Develop and manage reporting on process successes and failures in the contract management systems. Maintain the database of all client contracts, ensuring that it is complete and all contracts are current. Coordinate internal communications of all new and revised material contract terms and provisions. Ensure timelines are met so contracts are executed prior to implementation. Should have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, related field or equivalent experience. Juris Doctorate, MBA, or MHA is preferred. Should have 2+ years of experience analyzing, revising and approving healthcare provider contract language or 2+ years of experience negotiating healthcare provider contracts or project management experience. Previous experience in the healthcare insurance industry. Managed care, Medicaid, Medicare or dual eligible health programs experience preferred. Experience developing contract templates os preferred.
