Sales Legal Counsel
The candidate will independently draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements involving nuanced technical, commercial, data protection, privacy, and intellectual property issues. Drive business outcomes and provide actionable advice to sales leadership, executive management, and other internal stakeholders on a broad range of complex legal, business and strategic issues. Collaborate on broader projects such as sales enablement, operational improvements, knowledge management and team playbooks. Should have 5+ years of the relevant post-law school experience. Accredited law degree and a current and active license to practice law. Demonstrated technical understanding and proficiency in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, including multi-jurisdictional transactions, cloud services, and related professional services and support. Previous work with US and EU privacy and data protection regulations including HIPAA, HITECH, CCPA/CPRA, and GDPR. Experience providing in-house legal support to companies with business operations on a global scale is preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and manage multiple business expectations in a fast-paced environment. Exposure to complex procurement processes, including public sector and SLED.
