Government Contract Coordinator
The candidate will be responsible for administrative processing of government contracts. Develops and maintains tracking systems for such, including but not limited to reporting and compliance, payment, dealer registration, government client pricing and discounting. Fields calls from government customers. Responsibilities:Manage periodic contractual reporting and fee payment requirements for GSA and various State and Local Government contracts, Government Sales People and Finance. Responsible for adding new/revised products to GSA and various State and Local Government contracts, including preparation of package of materials required to submit new products, obtaining necessary testing information and developing discounting information. Work with Marketing to coordinate various Government marketing initiatives. Handle GSA e-Buy bids (obtain off web, submit to appropriate dealer and enter quote from dealer into e-Buy system). Assist with other government RFPs as required. Assist Government purchasers and dealers with miscellaneous inquiries.Update and monitor all required Government registrations. Submit price increase information/requests to GSA and various State and Local Governments. Handle GSA Teaming issues including issuance of teaming letters for specific projects. Handle GSA payment issues including special escrow arrangements and assist A/R and order entry with obtaining payment on credit card orders. Prompt, reliable, and regular attendance. Maintain and update Teknion Government information on all Teknion websites i.e. HUB, Teknion.com and Teknion online. Must have High school diploma or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Should have must have minimum 4 years of experience working with legal contracts/documents such as in government contracting, purchasing, or as a paralegal. Should have knowledge of GSA and other government processes a plus as well as knowledge of the contract office furniture industry.
