Responsibilities:
Works as an IP Telephony Network Engineer with technical teams on NICE Call Recording, Avaya and Cisco technology based IP Telephony infrastructures, delivering hands-on logical IPT network configurations, changes, implementations and designs. Executes on projects, network change activities and technical problem resolution. Consults on network designs and technical engineering solutions for customer requirements, collects information from customers, account teams, and Engineering group that is specific to the network issue for purposes of designing network solutions. Provides recommendations for network optimizations either by self or collaborating with other engineers. Delivers network diagrams and documentation
Required Skills & Experience:
Requires a BS degree (Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Technology) or Equivalent and a minimum of 5 years experience in technology disciplines. Thorough NICE Call recording technology and Cisco / Avaya knowledge with IP Telephony network engineering, operational support familiarity, current extensive hands-on implementation, and configuration knowledge and capabilities for CISCO IP Telephony platforms. Very Strong customer interfacing skills, as well as very good oral and written communication and teaming skills. Work closely with technical teams, program and sales teams on collaboration in meeting the technology requirements for the customer. Disciplined and oriented in practice of and adherence to process and procedures. Previous engineering support for Data and Call Center migrations/integrations/implementations desired. Must possess strong hands-on logical implementation and technical support skills in IP Telephony Network Engineering.

-Working experience with Cisco Routers & Switches
-Avaya technologies
-Hands-on working experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager platforms, Cisco Unity platforms (Unity, Unity Connection, Unity Express).
VoIP:
Familiar with SIP, H.323, MGCP, Session Border Controllers, Voice Security Principles, Traffic Engineering, and Feature Servers (Class 5), Contact Center Routing & IVR technologies in High Availability setups.
Networking:
- Working experience with Avaya networking, Cisco routing & switching protocols for LAN (Modular Network Design, Spanning Tree, VLANs, Trunking, Link Aggregation, QoS, PoE, LAN Security best Practices, etc)
-WAN (MPLS, RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, Policy Routing, Route Redistribution, Multicast, NAT, PAT, WAN Optimization)
Desired Skills & Experience:
-Higher Level Network Certifications (CCNA/CCNP or equivalent)
-Cisco CCIE Voice and Cisco Certified Voice Professional (CCVP) Certifications a plus.
