Profile

Description

We're an entrepreneurial team set on transforming the US healthcare system and making real improvements in member health outcomes. Identifying and delivering new avenues of growth is a critical company priority, championed by the SVP of Retail Strategy & Product. We're strategic and analytical, but with a bias towards action in the real world. We hold each other and our partners accountable for achieving what we set out to do, and we celebrate wins along the way. If you want to learn a lot, be challenged, and also operate in a collaborative environment, Humana's Retail Strategy & Product team could be a great fit.

Responsibilities

The Director, National Institutional Special Needs Plans (iSNP), leads product and strategy to enable both short term and long term growth in the iSNP/ieSNP space. As a part of the Retail Strategy & Product Advancement Team, this strategic and operationally focused leader will be focused on collaborating with national cross-functional partners, to create, align and implement the national strategy for the iSNP product, highly focused on key business drivers and related operating levers. You will make informed recommendations through a collaborative approach to Adaptive Leadership, thinking analytically and experimentally to enable discovery and action, through a commitment to embracing Best Practice to get to Next Practice.

In this role you will drive enterprise wide, multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret, and produce strategic recommendations that set, influence and support national strategy. You will also ensure that policies, processes and procedures align with corporate vision, as well as compliance and regulatory expectations at both a national and at a State level. You will design, implement and track strategic plans, driving goals and objectives while improving performance. You will be responsible for decisions related to the ideation, research, creation and implementation of new/updated programs and large-scale projects.

This role and a small team of direct reports will interact with, influence and impact a broad spectrum of cross-functional partners, providing a true enterprise view opportunity. You will have frequent interfaces and exposure with Senior Divisional and Market leadership, headquarters finance and other national functional leadership staff (e.g., service, clinical, MarketPoint, IT, Bold Goal / Social Determinants of Health (SDOH), STARS/quality, etc) to coordinate strategies to drive iSNP growth, connecting to initiatives focused on national/enterprise operating model change for the iSNP eligible segment.

The successful candidate brings a track record of success through direct iSNP industry experience. They have a clear understanding of how to enable the key drivers to short and long term growth, experience driving business development and strategic planning with iSNP expansion and the ability to champion operational excellence through the implementation of new iSNP market opportunities. Their customer-centric approach and understanding of the goals, problems and needs of the Special Needs Facilities, provider partners and the iSNP member will lead to outstanding retention and long term relationships. You will leverage your field and health plan perspectives and expertise, strong analytical abilities and a high level of curiosity to all engagements. Building on your program start-up and expansion experience, your prior successes highlight leadership strengths where you leverage subject matter experts, build cross-functional, collaborative, long-term relationships, while maintaining the ability to hold others accountable for alignment and deliverables.
