Prelitigation Compliance Paralegal (Auditor)
The candidate focuses on reporting. In a team environment, ensure the delivery of quality demands within a 90-day period for each assigned attorney team and in turn generate increased productivity for each team and increased efficiency with Litigation Intake Attorney(s) handling of client matters to resolution. Confirm support staff is working diligently towards organizing the client’s medical information. High level of attention to detail in writing is required; proofreading or editing skill set. Reports directly to Attorney Group Director. Track Defendant Omissions to ensure compliance with conflict checks within 5 days of sign up. Track MRI Omissions to ensure MRI’s completed and entered in Advologix. Track New Case Client Calls within 24 hours of assignment. Track Status Letters to ensure 1 letter per client per month. Track Checks Received, Not Deposited to ensure checks deposited timely. Aid/Assist in File Suit procedure. Assist in drafting G1 petitions. Ensure FS petitions uploaded to Docushare. Ensure Citations received within 5 days and out for service. Ensure all associated deadlines tasked. Ensure file moved to litigation 21 days after service. Ensure Due Diligence updates in feed. Ensure all appropriate fields updated in Advologix to reflect date filed, date served, date answered, cause number entered. Ensure process server invoice entered in expenses. Audit meeting once a week with each attorney. Demand review. Track medical record orders through reports to ensure all records ordered by Day 75. Review demands to ensure:. Incident report, Photos, All records and bills. Monitor “demand made” box in verification section of Advologix to ensure compliance with 90-day complete demand policy. Run Demand Dashboard and email results every night to upper mangemnent. Other duties assigned.
