Head of Hire to Retire Operations North America

As the Head of Hire to Retire Operations for North America, you will lead the direct delivery of GBS (Group Business Services) Hire to Retire Operational services for Human Resources and Payroll. Providing overall leadership, operational expertise and strategic direction in delivering Hire to Retire Operational services to North America based employees. Following outsourcing, to act as the interface between our primary operations partners and the Rolls-Royce businesses with the North America region. Drive successful transition and stabilization of the service within Infosys and ADP. Once stabilized, to steer on-going transformation and improvement of the services aligned to the developing needs of the Rolls-Royce businesses. Provide leadership of direct delivery for retained operational scope and roles.

Key Accountabilities
Provide leadership of direct delivery for retained roles and manage key business relationships and stakeholders in delivery of Hire to Retire services, both within the retained Rolls-Royce organization and in partnership with our outsourced providers
Accountable for operational service delivery and performance for processes in scope of Hire to Retire Operations that remain in house
Manage activities to ensure compliance and adherence to group policies, region/country legislation/requirements, procedures and management of risks, working closely with process owners to manage change control and deploy into operational service
Manage the relationship between Rolls-Royce and our delivery partners across the North America region; handling escalations ensuring customer service level is as expected
Manage post-transfer service stabilization for in progress outsourcing activities to Infosys and ADP, then to lead the evolution and improvement of outsourced services in close collaboration with our partner organizations, in order to ensure excellent service is delivered that is in line with evolving business and stakeholder needs
Act as the interface between customer businesses, their key stakeholders and outsourced providers' delivery teams
Act as key contact for; audit, Change Control, ad hoc and project work, horizon scanning and demand visibility
As required, represent service delivery at local business / regional governance level
Support the on-going strategy and development of operations and the broader GBS People Services organization

Basic Requirements:
Associate degree and 10 years of HR and payroll service delivery experience, OR
Bachelor's degree and 8 years of HR and payroll service delivery experience, OR
Master's degree and 6 years of HR and payroll service delivery experience, OR
JD/PhD and 3 years of HR and payroll service delivery experience, OR
12 years of HR and payroll service delivery experience in lieu of a degree
Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident
Preferred Experience:
Excellent knowledge and experience of HR and payroll service delivery within the North America region, ideally leading and supporting teams in a large-scale service operations environment, preferably HR and payroll
Track record of transitioning HR and payroll processes from in-house organizations to outsourced service delivery providers then successfully managing and developing outsourced vendors
Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities with excellent project management capability
Good understanding of lean process management and continuous improvement methodologies with proven capability to deploy to improve process performance and customer experience
