ABOUT THE TEAM

The Administration Team operates cross-functionally with employees at all levels to ensure that the offices are functioning effectively to avoid the interruption of business operations, and ensures workplace safety for all GreatCall employees.

ABOUT THE JOB

The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations in relation to building/property facilities and office administrative staff . This individual will be the primary point of contact for internal facility requests, property management, and external vendors. This role manages the coordination of all facilities maintenance, repair, renovation, custodial work, and negotiates contracts with outside vendors. In addition, this individual will be responsible for planning and supervising any office buildouts and will work cross functionally across departments on facility matters and provides solutions for custodial or facility maintenance needs and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as liaison between company and property management

• Manage administrative and maintenance staff to facilitate building repairs and maintenance, as well as coordinating vendors and contracts for preventative maintenance

• Oversees office administrative staff

• Maintain appropriate records and prepares projects specifications and special reports

• Ensures the building meets health and safety requirements, evaluates OSHA records and files, enforces safety standards, and works with regulatory agencies

• Ensures that work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and follows up on any deficiencies

• Responds appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise

• Participates in contract negotiations for repairs/ maintenance related vendors

• Directs and plans essential central services such as reception, security, maintenance, mail, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and recycling

• Leads safety committee meetings and safety related processes/drills

• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of facility management or office management experience required

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience to include managing performance and/or projects required

• Prior experience managing vendors, office builds/construction, project management, and budgeting required

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Computer skills including typing and prior experience using Microsoft Office Suite – specifically Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

• Project management, preparing specifications and budgeting skills

• Knowledge of ergonomics best practices or ergonomics certification preferred
