Collections Paralegal

Growing Ohio real estate law firm is looking for a paralegal to join our dynamic and engaging Cincinnati collections group that offers a tremendous opportunity for long term advancement and professional development opportunities. This individual will assist attorneys in their transactional work and will have client interaction, including community association managers and board members, as well as staff within the Firm’s offices. Position Description:

• Proofread, format, revise, and finalize attorney-client privileged correspondence
• Timely and effectively manage calendar and billing for attorneys this position will support
• Help with the preparation of documents

Optimum Skills:

• Available weekdays between 8:30am - 5:00pm for in-office work. An occasional week night or weekend may be required.
• Prior experience as a collections paralegal is required - prior work experience must demonstrate dedication, teamwork, hard work, and drive to be the best
• Most recent cumulative grade point average must be 3.0 or higher; high school diploma required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrate proficiency using Microsoft Word as well as other Microsoft Office Suite programs
• Able to work individually as well as within a group setting
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Demonstrate excellent organizational skills in an interview
• Able to work high volume under pressure with excellent personal skills
