Job Title: Mid-Level Class Action Associate Attorney
Location: Raleigh, NC

Job Overview:
The law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Class Action Associate Attorney with at least 3 years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm. The ideal candidate will possess superior writing, research, and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate and take ownership of a multi-matter docket. Class action defense, complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation experience are highly preferred. The candidate should have a strong academic background from nationally recognized schools, and a previous federal clerkship is a plus.

Duties:

  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.
  • Successfully meet deadlines, and expectations, and perform work duties as required.
  • Foster positive work relationships.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in both physical and sedentary activity, such as:
    • Working at a computer for extended periods of time, including on-screen reading and typing.
    • Participating in digital/virtual conference calls.
    • Participating in meetings as needed.
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of litigation experience.
  • Class action experience is preferred.
  • Superior writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Strong academic background from nationally recognized schools.
  • Previous federal clerkship is a plus.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
