FRE Regulatory Specialist
The candidate will review and proofread all documents produced. Will check for proper formatting, spelling and grammatical errors. Ensure that all attachments, exhibits or enclosures are intact before distribution. Provide document production services in accordance with the requirements of assigned timekeepers. Work with the team in the preparation and filing of all court documents. Have knowledge of electronic court filings and litigation procedures. Contact clients and opposing counsel for the scheduling of appointments and maintain timekeeper calendars. Communicate directly with clients in a professional manner. Electronically scan and properly categorize/name documents. Assist attorneys in the review of billing statements. Act as liaison between attorneys and paralegals with regard to prioritizing workload and deadlines. Communicate information and updates on projects to appropriate timekeepers. Prepare assignments according to the required specifications. Perform other duties as assigned. High School Diploma or GED certificate required. 2+ years of experience working as a legal secretary is a plus. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office 2010.
