Legal Counsel

The candidate will be learning unique history, model, culture, and Core Values. Building relationships with key internal stakeholders. Leading and supporting the team of in-house attorneys and compliance teammates. Advising executive members of both new and existing laws that impact the business. Overseeing the legal matters of the business, including acting as the business’ legal representative, and leveraging the expertise of external counsel where appropriate. Maintaining knowledge of the company’s legal documents and operations. Crafting and reviewing legal strategy in response to any litigation. Facilitating filings of licensing forms and other statutory requirements; filing for the copyright of the intellectual property. Assessing current practices and developing a roadmap to manage risk more effectively. Implementing policies and controls to help the organization avoid distractions. Providing general education throughout the organization on matters of importance. Performing other duties as assigned.
