Privacy Counsel
The candidate will partner closely with our marketing, sales, HR, and other business teams on privacy and data-related matters, developing and providing training, and emphasizing the importance of privacy while delivering practical and business-minded legal advice. Assess and advise on potential privacy and legal risks and regulatory requirements, including lead generation and marketing outreach activities. Support privacy program compliance, including data subject rights requests, data inventory, privacy by design, audits, and help operate and improve the effectiveness of critical privacy compliance processes. Work with key business stakeholders to complete Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for new processing activities, IT changes, projects, and data ingests. Assist with developing marketing collateral to tell our privacy story. Research and evaluate the applicability and impact of global privacy laws, legislation and regulatory guidance on new business initiatives and processes.
