Job Description:
To monitor and execute batch jobs within a large scale computer system.

Work Schedule

Nights- 3-11.5 hour shifts and one 5.5 hour shift

Salary Range
From $37,360 To $46,700 Annually

This position is a Band Code:
CS13.

Specific Job Related Duties
This position will serve as an operations team member providing daily operations of the Operations Command Center.

MAJOR DUTIES / CRITICAL TASKS:
- Provide support for Data Center activities and responsible for utilizing enterprise management tools to monitor network, mainframe and server information systems
- Send out communications in the event of a system failure
- Respond to mechanical system alerts.
- Execute batch job streams according to daily production schedules.
- Identify and coordinate resolution of processing problems.
- Provided Data Center facility support.
- Monitor and respond to console messages on various computer platforms

Preferred Education
Associate's Degree (Experience may be considered in lieu of degree)

Preferred Skill/Competency
Mainframe, Network, Server or Desktop support experience;
Good verbal and documentation skills.
Familiar with ticking systems such as SDE, Remedy, Magic, etc..

Preferred Work Experience
General IT experience.
