Associate - Private Accounting Solutions

The candidate are responsible for the daily accounting and monthly, quarterly or annual financial close process. Associates receive both formal and on-the-job training to hone and develop their technical and analytical skills. Accounting and general ledger functions, such as data entry, reconciling of accounts, as well as performing basic accounting research and written conclusions. Maintenance of work papers in accordance with enacted processes and guidelines. Preparation of financial statements. Communication with Senior Associations and Managers to clarify accounting-related issues, procedures and policies. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related degree and/or an advanced degree in Accounting, Taxation, JD or LLM is needed. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required. Strong leadership, multitasking and organizational skills are essential. Self-starter with initiative to seek out opportunities in a fast-paced environment is needed. Strong interpersonal skills are essential. Must have the ability to interact with various levels of client and firm management through both written and verbal communication.
