Commercial and Technology Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm located in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Commercial and Technology Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of transactional legal experience. The ideal candidate should have significant experience in vendor procurement and outsourcing matters, payment processing arrangements, financial service technology and operations agreements, financial back office activities, and/or corporate transactions. Privacy experience is a plus. Strong academic performance, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to provide practical advice are required.

Duties:

• Provide legal support and guidance in transactional matters related to commercial and technology law.
• Draft and review legal documents and agreements in vendor procurement and outsourcing.
• Analyze and negotiate payment processing arrangements, financial service technology agreements, and financial back office activities.
• Assist in corporate transactions and due diligence.
• Address privacy issues in transactional matters.
• Collaborate with clients to provide practical legal advice.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of transactional legal experience.

Preferred:

• Significant experience in vendor procurement and outsourcing matters, payment processing arrangements, financial service technology and operations agreements, financial back office activities, and/or corporate transactions.
• Privacy law experience.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Skills:

• Strong transactional legal experience.
