CPA Candidate

The candidate is responsible to help provide the firm’s domestic and international clients representation in civil and to a lesser extent (occasional) criminal tax controversies and provide tax planning and compliance services. Must have 2 years of full charge accounting in public accounting or 4 years of full charge private industry experience. Experience with domestic and international individual, partnership and corporate tax (C and S) preparation is a plus. Experience with a public accounting firm is an asset. Experience with trust and estate tax preparation is preferred. Experience with representation in sophisticated federal and state tax controversies is beneficial. Collection representation experience is desired. Bachelor Degree in Business Administration Majoring in Accounting (completed or in process) Working knowledge of QuickBooks, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Bilingual is critical. Advanced education in Taxation is a plus.
