Job Summary:

The Global Quality Engineer is primarily responsible for Supplier Quality Development and Management.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Assessing Supplier Risk, reporting/maintaining Supplier Risk data, taking action to mitigate Supplier Risk; Qualification of new suppliers, re-assessing existing suppliers;

Providing Supplier Quality Management support to WCE (Drilling) facility API and Customer audits;

Maintaining yearly Supplier Audit Plans; Identifying suppliers to be de-activated.

Providing WCE Pressure Control facilities with support of Customer Support Portal (CSP);

eading and participating in Business Line Facility Internal Audits;

Helping to maintain BL SPs/IPs;

Helping to maintain the BL Quality Management System.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

Bachelors' degree in Engineering, or technical discipline / field with 3-5 years experience as a Quality / Supplier Quality Engineer.

Expertise in Root Cause Analysis, 8D Development, Corrective / Preventive Actions

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical Bills of Material

Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of, or experience with API 6A, 7K, 8C, 16A, 16C, 16D, 16F, 17D.

Familiarity with key manufacturing and inspection processes employed throughout Oil &Gas supply chain (i.e., forging, heat treatment, welding, machining, NDE,coating, etc.).

Experience in engaging with external business contacts at all levels (vendors/customers).

Experience in development of QMS processes and documents (i.e., procedures, work instructions).

Excellent written and oral communication skills.
