Flight Manual Manager C-130

Profile

This position shall provide flight manual functional support services for reviewing all AF C-130/C-130J, commodity and AF rotary wing aircraft flight manuals and technical manuals. Shall provide data input for Joint Computer-aided Acquisition and Logistics Support (JCALS) System, Central Tech Order Repository (CTOR), Enhanced Technical Information Management System (ETIMS), Cardfile, and other TO systems.

This position requires prior experience as an aircrew member. Individuals must possess knowledge of the Air Force TO system. Specific knowledge of C130 Systems is mandatory to facilitate review, or evaluation of submitted Air Force Flight manuals and flight manual checklist, scroll checklist or any subordinate manuals being worked as a group. Will review maintenance manuals as Revisions, Changes, Work Cards, Supplements, Checklists, Work Packs, Joint Service Manuals, and TCTOs from source data provided by various sources in formats. Mandatory:
Able to review all series C130 aircraft flight/maintenance manuals against military specifications and ensure all TOs are updated with the new information. Provide Quality Assurance (QA) reviews on changes made to the AF C-130/C-130J, commodity and rotary wing aircraft maintenance TOs and report all deficiencies. Must be able to meet deadlines in a high volume production environment with a very low error rate. Desirable:
Knowledge of aircraft military specification for aircrew and maintenance manuals and their application to Air Force technical data. Knowledge of On-Equipment Maintenance Manual Set (OMMS), understanding of System Subsystem Sub-Subsystem Numbering (SSSN) and of various aircraft series in the “slicks” and “SOF” environment. Understanding of incorporation modification data, TCTOs and sustainment data.
