The candidate will draft pleadings and appear at motions hearings. Prepare for and defend clients and expert witnesses at deposition. Draft dispositive motions and argue. Trial preparation. Attend trial as second-chair or lead counsel where appropriate. Should have 5 to 10 years’ real estate and general commercial litigation experience. Experience with general litigation, title insurance matters and/or community association matters preferred. Juris Doctor (JD) from accredited law school required. Admission to DC Bar or waiver eligibility required. Admission(s) to MD and/or VA preferred. Strong analytical skills required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Ability to prioritize and multi-task a diverse caseload and meet deadlines required.
