Description

The Corporate Services Senior Product Owner is responsible for conveying product vision and roadmap to Agile delivery teams by defining user stories and prioritizing product backlog. The Senior Product Owner will work with the business partners and the IT teams to ensure that we have alignment on the product roadmap and the product backlog. The product owner is also the primary communicator and link between stakeholders and teams. As such, they have to be excellent communicators, making sure there's buy-in from stakeholders on all major decisions and strategy and clear instructions and deliverables for the agile teams

Responsibilities

The Senior Product Owner maximizes value of product created by Agile team. Product owners are responsible for communicating with stakeholders across the board, including customers, business managers, and the development team to make sure the goals are clear and the vision is aligned with business objectives. Serves as the Agile team's primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding the approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Additional Responsibilities:

The successful product owner will be an expert at understanding and anticipating the business needs to more effectively manage the development process

Inspecting and evaluating product progress through each iteration.

Assist in the creation of a product roadmap. The product roadmap is a high-level, strategic visual summary that outlines the vision and direction for the product offering over time

Attain product knowledge and domain expertise.

Required Qualifications:

2-3 years of experience as a technical product owner where you have evaluated, selected and designed service-oriented architecture products and solutions

Strong ability to write story outlines, user stories, grooming product backlogs and coordinating/prioritizing work items

Preferred Qualifications :

1 years of experience with Microsoft Azure services (ADO) and their implementation in application and product domains.

1 years of hands on experience in developing technical roadmaps, customer journeys and sequence diagrams as well as gathering and writing technical requirements.
