We have a great opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing and Sales team. This is a full-time, permanent position, usually based out of our Bristol office, although we are happy to consider some home working on occasion for this position too, but at present due to the UK Government guidelines, this position will be working remotely.

The role

The main purpose of this role is to provide high quality marketing assistant level support to the firm's practice groups and transformation team, the events team and digital marketing & data executive.

Key responsibilities

Firm's practice groups and transformation team:

Assist in the implementation of internal/external marketing initiatives in line with the firm's 3D strategy and the promotion of the firm's service line and transformation expertise

Update communications plans/schedules and assisting in executing those plans, including briefing specialist marketing teams, external agencies and partners, generating focused mailing lists using the firm's CRM system, preparing internal and external mailings using Vuture and tracking activity

Assist with the implementation of service line and transformation event programmes

Upload marketing content to OC internal and external website

Assist with the sign off of invoices and tracking of expenditure against budget

Support with the preparation of internally produced marketing collateral

Administrative support to the legal directories submission process:

Upload entries to Chambers UK and Legal 500

Repurpose and transfer relevant content from Chambers UK forms in preparation for Legal 500 entries

Schedule legal directory interviews with relevant partners

Chase content, working to strict deadlines

Repurpose content, eg uploading credentials to oc.com and updating partner profiles on oc.com

Collating and maintaining sight of directory submission referees

Event team support:

Assist with events administration (when required), including the invitation process, preparing name badges and delegate packs, meeting and greeting delegates for events

Manage the events pages on oc.com and making event information available on a timely basis on the intranet

Digital marketing team support:

Assist with email marketing campaigns for the wider sales and marketing team, distributing emails to well targeted lists

Help with the upload of digital content to OC websites and drafting social media posts

General support:

General point of contact, for the wider sales and marketing team, including those based in our international offices

Provide training to new members of the team on team policies and processes

You'll be

We are looking for someone with previous administrative experience, who is able to use their own initiative, can demonstrate first class organisational skills and has excellent attention to detail.

Key skills

Able to give clear instructions and understand and act upon appropriate instructions from senior management

Be self-motivated and proactive

Strong IT skills within Word, Powerpoint and Excel

Good interpersonal skills with ability to build good relationships at all levels

Good written and verbal communications skills, including a succinct and effective writing style
