Description

The Senior Release Management Engineer manage cross-organizational efforts required to introduce applications and infrastructure changes into the production environment. The Senior Release Management Engineer work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

The Senior Release Management Engineer is responsible for ensuring all changes are delivered to user while maintaining the integrity and availability of the existing systems. Communicate release expectations across all impacted users. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications

5 years of project and/or release management experience

Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) knowledge and practice

Superior organizational skills

Effective analytical skills

Advanced written and verbal communication

General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office (expert level knowledge of Excel a plus)

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Work-At-Home Requirements

WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role). A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.

A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

Demonstrated experience with process documentation

Prior experience with supporting other complex projects

Experience presenting to different levels of the organization
